Technical documentation & EU declaration of conformity
In this section, you can expect to find information about the specific standards SCANLOX adheres to in our technical documentation and EU declaration of conformity. This includes the key safety and health requirements we follow to ensure our automated solutions, comply with relevant EU directives and industry regulations.
Ensuring safety standards in our automated solutions
Our operations are fully aligned with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Annex II, Part 1A, ensuring that all our machines meet essential safety and health requirements for design and manufacturing. This is a critical foundation for the safety of the automated system we provide, including AMRs and AGVs.
Additionally, we comply with the EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU, which guarantees that our equipment operates without causing electromagnetic interference, ensuring seamless integration within industrial environments.
In implementing our AMR and AGV solutions, SCANLOX adheres to the following key national and international standards:

DK/ISO 3691-4:2023
This standard oulines the safety requirements for industrial trucks, and more specific driverless industrial trucks and their systems. This ensures that our solutions meet the latest safety protocals for autonomous vehicles in industrial environments
EN/ISO 21100:2013-10-15
This standard outlines fundamental hazards and helps designers identify significant risks from machines within their operational limits. It focuses on the safety of industrial forklifts, especially self-guided systems, enhancing reliability and operational safety.
EN 61000-6-4:2007 + A1:2011
This standard sets EMC emission requirements for industrial electrical and electronic apparatus, covering emissions from 0 Hz to 400 GHz. It applies to equipment connected to high or medium voltage networks and battery-operated devices in industrial environments, ensuring emissions do not interfere with other equipment.
EN/ISO 13849-1:2016-06-15
Part 1 of ISO 13849 outlines safety requirements for the design and integration of safety-related parts of control systems (SRP/CS), including software. It defines the necessary performance level for safety functions in high-demand and continuous operations, applicable across all machinery types and technologies (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, etc.).
EN 61000-6-2:2005
This standard applies to electrical and electronic apparatus used in industrial environments, covering immunity requirements from 0 Hz to 400 GHz. It ensures adequate immunity for equipment connected to high or medium voltage networks and battery-operated devices, focusing on relevant disturbances for industrial locations.
The declaration of conformity becomes invalid if the equipment is used contrary to the intended use specified in the opearing manual or if the other instructions in the manual are not followed.
In addition, we utilize these Terms of Sales and Deliveries, which apply when the parties have entered into an agreement, either in writing or by other means. Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing to be valid. This ensures a transparent and reliable process, from placement to delivery, allowing us to uphold our commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
