AGILOX launches scissor-free technology

AGILOX OFL with load carrier lifted

Automation and artificial intelligence are increasingly driving the development of supply chains. With the launch of the AGILOX OFL, an omnidirectional free-lifter AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot), AGILOX sets a new standard for automated material handling.

This advanced AMR can lift, stack, and transport loads up to 800 kg without the need for a scissor lift or modifications to existing infrastructure, making it a game-changer for companies looking to optimize their internal logistics without significant costs for new installations.

Intelligent Automation Without Boundaries

The new AGILOX OFL is designed to meet the growing demands for flexibility and efficiency in the supply chain. Unlike traditional automated mobile robots that require scissor lifts or external support devices, the OFL utilizes scissor-free technology for a more compact and agile solution. This enables stacking and transportation of pallets and other load carriers of up to 800 kg and later 1,200 kg, making it ideal for both production and warehouse facilities where loading and unloading takes place at roller conveyors and in storage racks.

AGILOX has further developed its renowned X-SWARM technology, allowing the OFL to integrate easily with other AGILOX AMR models. The robots communicate directly with each other in real time, intelligently distributing transport tasks and adapting to changes in the environment without the need for external control. This ensures continuous operation and reduces the risk of bottlenecks.

Advanced sensor technology for enhanced safety

Safety and precision are crucial for automated solutions in the industry. The AGILOX OFL is equipped with a new generation of obstacle-avoidance technology, combining 3D sensors and advanced laser scanners to create a 360° protection zone. This ensures more intelligent obstacle detection, allowing the robot to navigate safely in complex and dynamic environments where employees and robots work side by side.

To minimize errors and enhance operational reliability, AGILOX has implemented laser distance sensors in the raised forks, which can detect whether a discharge position is occupied or free. This optimizes storage processes and reduces the risk of collisions or misplacements.

User-friendliness and quick implementation

One of the greatest advantages of the AGILOX OFL is its quick implementation. The system requires no external control units, as everything is managed via AGILOX’s AI-driven X-SWARM software. Additionally, the OFL is equipped with an intuitive screen unit that provides operators with a clear overview of the machine’s status, reducing response times for maintenance and optimizing daily operations.

With a turning circle of 2,2 meters and a minimum passage width of 1,4 meters, the OFL is designed to maneuver in narrow aisles and compact warehouse areas. This makes it an ideal solution for companies seeking to maximize their warehouse capacity without compromising efficiency.

Future-proof with scalability

AGILOX has opted for a two-phase market introduction of the OFL. The first version, launched this month, has a lifting capacity of 800 kg, but in the next development phase, this will be increased to 1.200 kg. This ensures that the solution can scale with the needs of businesses, contributing to a more flexible and future-proof supply chain.

One step closer to fully automated logistics

The AGILOX OFL is more than just a new model. It represents a significant technological advance in autonomous material handling. With advanced AI, enhanced safety, and user-friendly integration, this solution makes it easier than ever to optimize logistics processes.
