Technical Documentation & EU Declaration of Conformity

On this page, you will find information regarding the specific standards SCANLOX follows in our technical documentation and EU Declaration of Conformity. This includes the essential health and safety requirements we adhere to, ensuring our automated solutions fully comply with applicable EU directives and industry regulations.

Safety Standards

Learn more about the compliance frameworks governing our automated systems.

Our development and integration work is fully compliant with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Annex II, Part 1A. This guarantees that all machinery meets fundamental health and safety requirements during design and manufacturing, a critical prerequisite for the operational safety of the AMRs and AGVs we deliver.

Additionally, we adhere to the EU EMC Directive 2014/30/EU on electromagnetic compatibility. This ensures that our equipment operates smoothly without causing electromagnetic interference, allowing for seamless integration into active industrial environments.

When deploying our AMR and AGV solutions, SCANLOX follows these central national and international standards:

Logo of EU

DK/ISO 3691-4:2023

This standard specifies safety requirements for industrial trucks, specifically driverless industrial trucks and their integrated systems. It ensures our solutions comply with the latest safety protocols for autonomous vehicles in industrial environments.

EN/ISO 21100:2013-10-15

This standard outlines fundamental hazards and assists designers in identifying significant risks associated with machinery within specified operational limits. It focuses on the safety of industrial forklifts, particularly self-propelled systems, driving higher operational safety and peace of mind.

EN 61000-6-4:2007 + A1:2011

This standard defines EMC emission requirements for industrial electrical and electronic equipment, covering emissions from 0 Hz to 400 GHz. It applies to equipment connected to high- or medium-voltage networks as well as battery-powered devices in industrial environments, ensuring emissions do not disrupt nearby equipment

EN/ISO 13849-1:2016-06-15

Part 1 of this standard provides safety requirements for the design and integration of safety-related parts of control systems (SRP/CS), including software. It establishes the required Performance Level (PL) for safety functions in high-load, continuous-use systems, applying to all machinery types and technologies—whether electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical.

EN 61000-6-2:2005

This standard applies to electrical and electronic apparatus used in industrial environments, covering immunity requirements from 0 Hz to 400 GHz. It ensures adequate immunity for equipment connected to high- or medium-voltage networks and battery-powered devices, focusing on relevant disturbances encountered in industrial settings.

Terms of Sale and Delivery

The Declaration of Conformity is rendered invalid if the equipment is used in contradiction to the intended use described in the operating instructions, or if other directives in the user manual are ignored.

Furthermore, our general terms of sale and delivery apply to all agreements, whether finalized in writing or otherwise. Any deviations from these terms must be mutually agreed upon in writing to be valid. This structure ensures a transparent, reliable process from initial order to final deployment, allowing us to maintain our high service standards and customer satisfaction.
