Last week, we had the pleasure of opening our doors to Logisnext, whom we also know through the Intralogistik network.
Logisnext chose to hold their team meeting at our facilities. This also gave them an opportunity to gain greater insight into SCANLOX, the work we do and the solutions we provide automating internal transport.
We value visits like this. They give us an opportunity to get to know one another better and discuss the opportunities and challenges companies encounter within intralogistics.
An AGILOX OFL in action
A visit to SCANLOX is naturally also a great opportunity to see an Autonomous Mobile Robot in operation.
The participants therefore received a demonstration of the AGILOX OFL and had the opportunity to see how flexibly the robot navigates its surroundings.
We also demonstrated how easy the robot’s HMI is to use. User-friendly operation is important in practice because employees need a clear overview of the robot and must be able to work with the system as part of their daily operations.
Technology makes the most sense in practice
Mobile robots can be described in terms of specifications, features, and technical concepts. However, many of their capabilities only become truly tangible once the robot moves through the facility, adapts its navigation and performs a transport task.
The demonstration sparked some interesting conversation about the technology and the opportunities mobile robots can create in different production and logistics environments.
